Someone left a bullet on Paul Edbrooke's car. Not a note, not an angry email, a bullet, etched with the word "RAT" and his old firefighter number, it's understood. The Labor MP for Frankston and Victoria's Emergency Services Minister found it on his car on Saturday.

Victoria Police's Security Investigation Unit is on it. Police confirmed they're "investigating a threat against a member of Victorian parliament which is alleged to have occurred in the greater Frankston area", and said detectives will look into the circumstances. Nobody's been charged and police haven't said who they think did it.
