Photo: Outlaw MediaWitnesses stopped a man from leaving the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the Princes Freeway at Berwick around 11 on Saturday morning, after an elderly passenger was trapped in one of the wrecked cars.
Police were called to the inbound lanes about 11am following multiple Triple Zero reports of an erratic driver speeding and weaving across lanes. Police say the vehicle, a 2025 white Peugeot, merged into the emergency lane, struck a barrier, then collided with two other cars.
