Toby Mitchell got shot in Brunswick in 2011 and again in Melton in 2013 and lived through both, a former Bandidos sergeant-at-arms later tied to the Mongols, and in 2018 Victoria Police put a firearm prohibition order on him through to 2028 that lets them search him, his home and his cars without a warrant. He called it a waste of time and said he doesn’t carry guns, he’s the one who gets shot.

Sources allege the FPO searches still happen, but they happen when he isn’t in the apartment, a card is usually left and the job is marked done. They also say the storage he subleases inside Eureka Tower doesn’t get opened, nor the multiple car spaces with cars sitting on them searched. They say that’s why he stayed in Eureka after the last place sold, a bigger apartment emptied and ready within weeks, and that body corporate and staff drop the building’s own knock-back rules for him, restricted CCTV shown on request, police on the same cameras asking him who just walked in. Sources now say he’s living in Phillip Island as well.
