Victoria Police struck another significant blow against organised crime this morning, arresting a 40-year-old Keysborough man as part of a long-running investigation into a syndicate tied to dozens of cannabis grow houses across the state.

Detectives from the Mornington Divisional Response Unit and the Criminal Proceeds Squad executed a warrant at a property on Scotch Avenue, Keysborough, shortly after 5.30am today, Tuesday the 21st of July. The man was arrested at the address and is now being interviewed by investigators. Police will allege he held a significant role in the syndicate.
